Welcome Avishkar Arts

Avishkar Arts is a Vancouver, Canada based organization that brings quality Marathi movies and Marathi drama shows to Canadian audience.

There has been a surge of great quality Marathi movies, Marathi drama and live shows in the recent years that have seen success, both commercially and critically. Avishkar Arts hope to cut across language and cultural barriers by bringing these world class Marathi entertainment.

We bring artists and audience together.

Introduction

Avishkar Arts, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to showcasing Indian culture and art programs worldwide. This time, they presented a screening of the super hit Marathi movie, “Doctor Kashinath Ghanekar,” marking the first Marathi biopic of the legendary superstar Kashinath Ghanekar. The extraordinary film has garnered attention internationally and is now making waves in Canada, particularly in New Westminster. Avishkar Arts, known for its commitment to promoting Marathi cinema, has successfully organized screenings that resonate well with Marathi audiences, both locally and globally. The movie’s release during Diwali saw tremendous success, becoming a huge hit and a significant milestone as the first Marathi superstar’s biopic. Starring Subodh Bhave and other talented actors, the film received accolades for its stellar performances and excellent storytelling. The beautiful portrayal, picturesque cinematography, and the personal connection to Dr. Kashinath’s journey made the movie a must-watch.
